We are on a drive to cultivate and improve the lives of disadvantaged women and we plan on doing this with education. With regular and proper education, we will create leaders, and these leaders will foster and promote growth within their communities. Within Africa & Asia, we will conduct workshops and campaigns to challenge period stigma, period poverty, gender inequality, and any taboos associated with menstruation. With proper education, community engagement, and healthy conversations, we hope to remove any negativity that is associated with menstruation.
Statistically, “there are 1.8+ billion females across the world that menstruate monthly, and from this number, there are more than 500 million females at any given time that do not have access to sanitary products to manage their periods safely, hygienically, and free from embarrassment”.
Hunni and Chlo has established a support system for females in Africa and South East Asia. We advocate that “you are powerful, you are bee-u-tiful, you are brilliant, and you are courageous”
